Vantex from Fashion Fair is really good for dark marks, spots,.........
It is a spot treatment, and u get red of the dark marks in about 2-3 weeks. With me it works in a week.

Vantex® is a special creme formula for gradual fading of skin discolorations such as freckles, age or liver spots, or dark marks that may occur from pregnancy or from the use of oral contraceptives.

Good luck. And keep posting if it works for u to help others.

What kind of marks did you use them on? Think they would work for dark marks caused from acne?

Yes, they help on marks on acne. I use it for that, but u have to be patient, it takes about 2-3 weeks. But it helps.

I know a lot of people using it.
My niece had marks after acne breakout. She used it for a month and her face is clear from marks.

Good luck

Is this like a peel? I've never heard of anything like this before. Where did you hear about it from?

You don't need this (or any cream) to get rid of the dark marks left by acne. These will go away by themselves within a couple weeks with no help from creams. It's because they are not scars, just discoloration of the very top layer of the skin. Save your money. All these companies make tons of profit by selling creams that promise to do what would naturally occur without any help from any cream. We need to learn to be patient although I can understand that people with these marks would want to try anything to hurry the process along.

I understand that u are saying companys just making money. I am just telling u guys what helped me and it doesnt take so long

The cream for 18 its a lot. And cuz u just treat the spot with that it last long. I have mine over 7 month now and it is still a lot left. Its 2 0z/56.7g

It not just for acne marks, also for discoloration.
And I know it works.

I get red marks from having a pimple that stay for sometimes months after I get a pimple! The pimple is gone but this little flat red spot is still there, I know it's not a pimple because it's all dried out. Not everything just fades away easily. The top layers of your skin have to come off for marks to go away. It depends on how much you exfoliate, how deep the discoloration goes into the layers of the epidermis, and just how fast your skin grows. The bottom most layer is the cell forming region and the cells migrate to the top where they slowly die, until they reach the top where they're just dried up remains of a cell, which is the skin you feel and touch and is constantly coming off. So it could take a long time for the skin carrying a discoloration to reach the top and come off.

Well, today is my second day using it. I have sun spots on my cheeks that look like big freckles, acne spots, and also a dark spot above my lip that always makes me look like I have a mustache even though I wax it. I will keep everyone posted on how it works for me.

i am so pale i have been referred to as "almost albino." i have several black spots on my face (only 1 is a mole; ppl say all the rest are freckles.) would the cream help remove those? i have tried everything from hair bleach and lemon juice to tooth bleach, tried some fade creams and even horseradish with vinegar...nothing seems to work.

i am planning on having the flat ones cut out this january if i cannot find a product that works. my derm said surgery was the only chance i had...

NO, don't do that. I had one cut off/out last October (2002) and even though I was told over and over again that it would leave a minimal scar, it is horrible. It's not that big, but in my opinion the mole or whatever itwas looked better. Please make sure you see pictures or something of what it is going to look like afterwards. BE CAREFUL!!!

can't they just stitch it shut though?

btw, i had about 6 moles cut off my neck last year (3 by a dr, 3 by my derm), not stitched, and you can barely see them now...a few guys have asked if i was bit by a vampire though.

of course, the dr. also screwed up on my back and now i have a big hole the size of a half dollar!!

I bought it once for 18$ at Macys.
Does this help even when 4% prescription creams from the doctor don't work? I got some hydroquinilone (sp?) cream, 4% from the doctor, but it takes forever to even fade the three age spots on my face. If the cream you're talking about really works, that would be wonderful! Please write back. Can you personal message me at [ removed ]? Thank you.

Hi,
I have Post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. i was told it could go away in a year or so. yea, right, like i'll wait that long to feel as depressed as i do. I have it at the corners of my mouth so i look like a sad little clown. I tried this bleach, lustra-af, from my dermatologist but it only irritated my skin and it's supposed to take up to 3 months to work, eek, 3 months of my spots looking red and darker than usual is not something i want, so i stopped the treatment. Do you think that Vantex® stuff would work on it? and could i just order it online...i suppose i can look that question up myself.. :)
Thanks a bunch...and it feels so good to be able to talk to someone about this who knows how it feels.

IMO, I would say it is probably pretty much the same thing. The Vantex is just a bleach.

I've had dark spots on my forehead and cheeks for almost 10 years. For the past 3 years I've been using Hydroquinone USP 4% skin bleaching gel with sunscreens...available by prescription. My dermatologist prescribed it for me. It only fades the dark spots a little. I use it twice a day for a week and then I don't use it for a few days before I use it again. The reason for doing this is I break out in blackheads from it.
Does anyone else have any experience with this product?
Is the product you recommend stronger than this?

Sorry to butt into the conversation here, but I had to share my story. I've been using a hydroquinone 4% cream too, for a month now that my derm gave me to help fade acne scars. So far I don't see much of a difference. The hyperpigmentation is perhaps slightly better, but hardly noticeable to me - still very visible. I am not very impressed! And I'm paranoid it's clogging my pores and making my acne worse. I'm getting the feeling that there isn't much help out there for old acne scars :(

I'm curious to see if this product you're all talking of works!

I want to try Vantex because I use all of Fashion Fair's makeup and moisturizers. Should I be using this if I still have acne? I have been taking oral and topical medicine for my acne for a year and a half. I still get an occasional breakout when I get my period. I would like to get rid of the acne scars because I am 24 and have braces. I don't want to look like a teenager with braces and pimples at almost 25.
