I am kind of confused, on if I have herpes in the eye or not. My Opt says that I have really bad dry eye problem thats causing me to burn my eyes, pain on my eyes, pain on the side of my eyes, and really heavy eyes in the morning when waking up with pus in the eye.

He put me on pathnol, and some tear drop, I tried pathnol for two weeks it help until I run out of it.

I saw the opt again and says he wants me to see a Cornea Doctor. Why ???
do I have to see a cornea spec if I have dry eyes, is this how it goes ?? or do I have herpes and hes not telling me ?

Or can someone explain what herpes is like in eyes. The opt says it would make your eyes really red and it will hurt, I dont know but my eyes are just killing me.

I got the worst case of all herpes - Ocualr Herpes - does this sound like ocular herpes ?



Does anyone know if Pains in Cheek bones are related to HERPES ?
