Hey Jen... Yep the Epilepsy Foundation site is a great place to learn more about it!! I got my poster from their magizine. If you do a search for epilepsy pins on the web you will find sites for them, and they are quite cheap. Lavendar is our color. We are supposed to have some air time on radio stations this year :) Not sure if we did last year or not.
The last two years I just stood back and never did anything, but this year I plan to educate!!!!! :bouncing: :bouncing: :bouncing:
Well hope I helped Jen, anymore questions ask away!!
Lisa
Can't wait to hear our first (shoot I'm lost for the word I'm thinking of.... its not a advertisment or informercial, nor slogan...... darn medicine :o ) you guys know what I mean, I hope!!

Hey...great thread LisaT!
Actually, Katie was asked to do a profile for the Epilepsy Foundation of Wisconsin. They are going to put it in print. We need to have a head shot of Katie, 3"x3". Our Epi recommended Katie and they called on Friday but we were off visiting "the Grandmas" (great & regular).
I need to call tomorrow to get more details on what she needs to do. It's basically a little bio about what she has been through. We may also be on the radio during the fundraising for Children's Miracle Telethon next year!!! That is where we heard Ashley's story shared, and we contacted the family that time. She's the one that had the same b-day as Katie. The friendship never panned out. I honestly didn't think it would. They were very different personality wise.
So...lavender ribbons unite & educate! Here's to increasing awareness and decreasing the stigma and ignorance of E...

Keep up the great work guys!! That Brainstorm summit sounds super!!
PINs are a good idea, ribbons, whatever you can do to spark a chance to talk to others!!
Hey you guys,
Are lavender pins just came in the mail we got them from a fast shiping company
called "The Thanks Company" you can reach them if you take off the "The" and add a .com. They charge $2.00 each, shipping to Ca was 50 cents. and they were super nice.
So get your pins wear them for the rest of the month and Educate Educate Educate the masses.
Bless you all
