Which product is your favorite? On another post, someone was talking about the glycolic peels, from 30 to 60%. I have had them done by my doctor in the past, but am scared to do them on my own. What if you leave it on too long? EEEK.

Thank you.

dont be afraid to do on your own. way cheaper. you wash face apply neutralizer let dry then apply acid, leave one for 1 to 12 minutes. wash again then apply neutralizer again and your done. at 30% youre pretty safe. i have rather sensitive skin and I had zero problem with it and LOVED the results. using scrubs can make tiny tears in your skin making pores look larger and damaging skin.

Clean and Clear Blackhead Clearing Scrub. Even if you don't have blackheads it's still a good scrub with rounded beads to exfoliate but not tear the skin.

Thanks ya'll. I use a glycolic acid cleanser (MD Forte, Cleanser III), so my skin is used to the acid. I was just worried about messing around with this stuff on my own. I think I'll give it a try.

Thanks again!

P.S. What part of Wisconsin are you from? My mom and brother live in Darien and Elkhorn.

I use manual microdermabrasion. It safely sands away the horny (damaged) layers of skin so new fresh skin moves its way up. My scars from acne are hardly noticeable. You said the best right? Well, this is 40.00 a tub, but it also has a toner in it and helps to shrink pores..so, well worth it.

my absolute favorite scrub is clinique's exfoiliating scrub, not the 7 day scrub. it works really well, gets rid of your dry skin and makes your skin so smooth. its $15 a tube but well worth it.

Forreal: Which microdermabrasion product do you use? There are so dern many out there, I don't know which one to get and which one is best for my skin. I have normal skin.

P.S. Thanks to all of you for responding to my question.

I got my microdermabrasion from ebay from a nurse named Amy. It's great. Best thing I've used to make my scars less noticeable and younger skin. If I used it more, I could probably sand away these 3 forehead lines...but I am also using the camellia oil....hope it helps.

Oh btw, the manual microdermabrasion I first got before I bought a tub, was a small sample. You can try the sample first...that's when I got hooked. I think it's listed on ebay as :Perfect Skin? Home Microdermabrasion w/ diet for under $5.00 for the samples...with great before and after pics.

FORREAL--ii saw this product on ebay, and although the woman has high positive feedback and you say its the best--her ebay page is so "gimick" like (such as offering it w/ a free diet)--doesnt seem professional, but then the sample is cheap so i think im gonna try.

you said you have acne scars--so im guessing this did not make you break out? i have oily/acne prone skin and am always afriad of new products...she also doesnt list ingredients on her site.

Laurenmarie- Yes, that one that appears like a gimmick is the one. I know, i talked to Amy quite a bit before I bought it. If you check out the feedback you will see everyone loves her and loves the product. Plus, if you don't like it for a couple bucks, I'll buy it from you..you can't lose with the sample. Amy mentions in her ad that you should try it on your hands when you get it. I did this comparison test from my hands and I was hooked right there. The one hand I used it on was soooooo soft. Yes, it's fine if you have acne prone skin. In fact, many people have written in that their acne is cleared up. Oh, btw, she/Amy has a message board just for her products. Just do a search for Greatnewskin and you should be able to communicate on the message board and see the reviews. You can also email the people on ebay from reviews and speak to them first. I did that too and only heard wonderful things about it.

cetaphil and baking soda mixed to create a creamy scrub. Works for all over as well as face without irritating unless you have cuts (owww!)

great question, I love The Body Shop's Juice It Kiwi and Lime Exfoliating Body Scrub, yes I do use it on my ultrasenstive face, and it makes me feel so clean inside and out. I also occasionally use Avon's Deep Clean Warming Mask, makes my skin SUPER soft and lovely. I have naturally large pores and oily skin, but the occasional use of those are a great help.
