Hi am a young man and about 5-6 months ago I started having really bad dizziness and vertigo 24/7. It has persisted but slowly has gotten better. It is still around to some extent but not nearly as bad as it used to be. Because of my dizzy symptoms my doctor wanted to give me a MRI just to rule out anything bad. I made it through about half of the MRI or about 3 tests and then had a panic attack due to the dizziness. The doctors looked at the MRI Scan and said nothing about a brain tumor and didnt call me in for another one so logically you would assume that there was no doubt in their minds about me having anything majorly wrong. I have been having headaches recently though and they were mostly between my eyes on my nose and so I assumed it was just sinus. BUt lately my temples and the back of my head have been somewhat senitive and achey especially when I apply some pressure there. They arent asbolutely horrible but enough to make me worry. I also have really bad vision and experience just a bit of double vision although it may just be my nearsightedness but it still worries me. I also sometimes forget little things but I have read that while this is a sign of brain tumors it is also common with anxiety and lots of worrying. My arms and legs also seem to "go to sleep" and become tingly easier than they used to.

Anyways... should I be worried at all? I know that if the doctors had any reason to beleive that they may have missed something or werent completely sure by my partial scan they would have called me back in. Otherwise I suppose they could get into a heap of trouble. BUt i still worry constantly and would really be very grateful to hear your take on my situation.

Thank You So Much

My father had a brain tumor and from what you describe - I wouldn't think brain tumor from my limited (very limited) knowledge of brain tumors. I might think migraine headaches or anxiety would be a better fit. However, since I'm not a doctor - I can only suggest you go see one. Hope you are feeling better - Take Care....Scarlett

I was told I have brain cancer on April 1, 2004. It at level 4. Just go to the doctor and have them do all of the test to make certain. It doesn't make since to wait. It is probably okay.
