Ok - this is weird for me to ask strangers, but here goes.
For some reason, I sometimes over analyze my stool, just to make sure everything looks "OK." I don't pick them up or anything, but I just take a good look every now and then.
Anyway, sometimes I have noticed the slightest red spot (or on the tissue - tiny like a freckle). I wouldn't say it's blood - more solid. I am wondering if sometimes when I eat red foods (tomatoes, peppers, etc) they don't fully breakdown in my system. Thus showing up later! Could this be? It's not all the time and sometimes it does look like food.
Just wondering - hope I haven't grossed you all out!

Hello, kitty. Hey, if we didn't study our stools sometimes we wounldn't know what's going on. I think you're fine - my stools (and the tissue) sometime have a dot of red, too - especially after eating tomatoes, red-skinned apples, etc. Don't worry too much, some foods have skin that can't be digested by the intestines, and come out in our stools.
