Hey everyone I'm a little worried here and hope someone can help, here's the deal, I am not planning on getting pregnant anytime soon, however it woud'nt be that bad at all to become parents, but I'm a little worried because I've had unprotected sex many many times, he always pulls out on time, but doesn't pre-ejaculate get you pregnant too or is it true that you could only get pregnant one day of the month. Please help I'm really worried and confused.

I agree. Every woman should know that everything is ok in that department. My husband and I have had unprotected sex for almost 7 years and have never gotten pregnant. We are going through IVF now because after several years of just thinking "it just hasn't happened" there was actually a problem keeping us from conceiving. Our only real chance is through IVF.

But 'pulling out' doesn't mean that you won't get pregnant. It's not a good form of birthcontrol. Like you said, some pre ejaculation could be inside. And most woman does only have a few fertile days each month for conceiving.
Generally speaking, if you take an ovulation test and when it's positive, that day and the next 3 days are the most fertile. You should at least get an ovulation kit and see if/when you ovulate. I'd do that for a good 3 months just to get a good sample of cycles. That way you can quickly see if you are ovulating or not. If you don't ovulate on your own then you will not get pregnant. If you are ovulating and you start actively trying to conceive and still don't. The next step would be to get an ultrasound to see if you are producing follicles on your own (where the egg resides). If you are not then again you can't get pregnant. If you are ovulating and you are producing follicles on your own the next step would be to get you tubes checked for blockage and to have your husband get a sperm analysis. Come to find out with me I wasn't ovulating, I wasn't producing follicles, and one tube was clogged. My husbands sperm test was perfect. So here I am going through IVF, my ER was yesterday...they retrieved 38 eggs,34 of which fertilized.

Good Luck!

Lorrie
