View Full Version : Myasthenia and "Lazy Eye"

I've had Myasthenia for over years now, and only recently (past 5 or 6 months) I have been on prednisone which has worked wonders with little or no side effects. Anyway, I use to be on 60mg of Prednisone a day (for about 1 month) but I have tapered off to 5 mg every other day and it has been that way for 2 months. Everything is fine except my left eye is like a milimeter of center in coordination with my right eye. It's not really noticeable but you can see it. It does bother me a lot, but I can still see fine. My question is this: Is this off center eye have anything to do with myasthenia gravis? Or would it be something else? I have had a lot of stress on my eyes these past years and I hope I didn't damage anything.

I remember when I had the symptoms bad of MG where one eye would completely veer off. But this seems different because its only slight. Any insight?

I had a lazy eye when I was a child. I had 3 surgeries when I was a small child, but as I grew and got older my eye muscles still weren't strong enough. A few months after graduation I finally had my final surgery and I am so glad and happy that this doctor cured me for good.
