Adivise please! mlgable 09-10-2002, 01:24 AM If you are having problems with flagyl side effects update the docs office and have them prescribe something else for you. You need to get this treated and the best way is with medication. Harry 09-10-2002, 10:55 AM Spirit, I think you probably need an antibiotic for a bacterial infection. I don't think olive leaf extract will do it. Harry Bettawrekonize1 09-10-2002, 01:26 PM Grapefruit seed extract is better than olive leaf extract (unprocessed of course). It also depends on which kind of grapefruit’s the seeds are extracted from (there are many different types of grapefruits). As for prescription drugs I would recommend Albendazole (brand name Albendza). It may cost a little more than the other prescription drugs but as far as I know it’s one of the safest and most effective medications. Raw garlic is also good at killing unwanted organisms but you definitely want to replace the good bacteria in your body (especially Bifidus and Acidophilus). ------------------ Life is in the Blood [This message has been edited by Bettawrekonize1 (edited 09-10-2002).] Spirit 09-10-2002, 02:05 PM Doc took me off flagyl and did not prescribe anything else. Hmm! Bettawrekonize1 09-10-2002, 02:46 PM If your doctor isn’t helping you very much I think it’s time for you to find a new doctor. ------------------ Life is in the Blood |
