I have heard that some doctors will send you to a radiologist to have an HSG done while doctors at infertility center many times will do the HSG themselves. I know that the RE chosen to assist in the infertility treatment can drasticly impact success rates but for an HSG, does it matter or is it a pretty standard procedure that can be performed/read by a radiologist or RE? Thank-you for any input you can provide me :-)

d- my ob sent me for my test with a radiologist, before being referred to an RE. Once I got to the re he reviewed all the testing that my ob had orderd prioir to my referral to RE.
With some Ins. it may make a difference if they pay or not...I would look into it.

HTH,
D
