i was playing baseketball last sunday with my friend last sunday [ the 31st ] and he accidentally poked me in the eye so hard that a vessel was popped in it. now, on the left side of my left eye, there is blood under the film covering my sclera. how long will it take to heal?

Go see a Retina Opthomologst to check out the eye to be sure that nothing serious has been damage.

Who knows you may have internal bleeding, not scare you ,but I would check it out by a eye DOc.


DO NOT DO NOT, go to Regular GP or Optomitrise or anything. Just go see a Retina Optomologist.

usually few weeks but there maybe some resiual brown discoloration after blood is reabsorbed. If no pain probabley a good sign no internal injury. Good luck.

good news--- it's only been a week since the initial bleeding and my eye is nearly healed. i talked to my uncle [who is an optomologist] and he said it would most likely heal in 7-10 days. so i suppose he was right, thanks for everyone's replies.
