i wear contacts and around my iris\cornea, it is mainly white. but as you get farther and farther away from where the lens is, it becomes a strange yellow. now i know all eyes aren't perfectly white, but mine are yellow. is there anyway i can get my eyes back to a normal, white color?

I would definitely go to an opthalmologist & regular doc to make sure all is alright. I don't know but I think yellowing eyes could be a sign of jaundice or liver problems. Probably should get it checked just in case...

My husband drew my attention to the fact that my eyes are yellowing a little, as well. I'm 22, and except for a little stressed and a little worn down/tired, I feel fine. My eyes aren't yellow, but they're not white, either. It's more like a yellow tint. I don't want to see a doctor about something that's not there, know what I mean? I know your eyes aren't supposed to be WHITE white, but is this yellow tinting normal? It kinda looks like the yellow tinting you see in they eyes of people who have smoked for a long time- but I don't smoke. Any advice or ideas are welcome.

Yellow tinting is not normal. Is your skin yellowed as well?

You need to see your doc asap as this could very well be from some sort of problem with your liver functions. The doc can do a simple blood test to determine this.If your bilirubin level is above the normal range, you definitely need to find the reasons.Have you noticed any other odd things going on in your body?Larger abdominal area?Increased itching?does it take a while for your blood to clot when you bleed?Noticed any strange bruising, easily bruised?any yellowing of the skin?this definitely is not normal and needs to be evaluated by your doc.I would call tomorrow and make an appt for very soon.good luck and keep us posted on what you find out.Marcia
