Hi, I've read that you can experience angina following large meals. does anyone know the mechanism behind this i.e. why should eating a large and/or rich meal induce cardiac pain ?
thanks

The digestive process requires lots of blood, and blood is diverted away from the rest of the body in order to do this. That's why you should rest after a meal, and rest after eating, before swimming etc.
