Has anyone used this? My friend recommended it and I tried it for the first time last night. It was my first time using a self tanner of any kind. I only used it on my face. I am not sure if my face looks any tanner? Should I put more on tonight? Thanks

I haven't used it myself, but most of the reviews I've read on it say that it's very, very light. The face is more difficult to tan than the rest of the body - and it loses the color faster, too - so you're definitely going to need 2-3 coats, and you may have to reapply every day or every other day depending upon the other products you use on your face.

So considering all that - it's probably not the most cost-efficient self-tanner out there.

Oh, and I also wanted to say that what you use to cleanse your face and/or any other products you apply prior to the self-tanner can affect your final color, too.

Thanks for the reply. Do you (or anyone else reading this) have any suggestions for a good self tanner for the face?

Well, if you want something from a drugstore, then I'd suggest Coppertone Oil-Free in medium/dark. If you want to go dept. store, then I'd say Clinique Dark. If you want to get something online, then I'd suggest SUN UD, Paula's Choice Almost the Real Thing tanning gel, or my personal favorite, an airbrush tanning solution. The best airbrush solutions for me have been SunKissed Mist 10%, Au Courant (although this one is a little light), Aviva 12%, and Jamaica Me Tan 10%. You can just use a velour makeup puff to apply.
