currently i am taking 1000mg. l-tyrosine 3x's daily along with wellbutrin and dexedrine for my depression and ADD
Mucuna pruriens contains small amounts of l-dopa which is another precursor to dopamine.
the question i have for anyone is...are you familiar with Mucuna pruriens and their effectiveness compared to l-tyrosine?
any information will help me a lot...thanks

L-Tyrosene gets converted to L-Dopa (and the Norepinephrine precursor) AFAIK, so compared to something containing only L-Dopa, L-Tyrosene would probably be less effective.

Mucuna pruriens contains small amounts of l-dopa which is another precursor to dopamine.

If this is true (which I don't doubt), I think you need to make sure your psychiatrist knows you are taking it together with your Wellbutrin and Dexedrine.
