My Mom has been diagnosed with Ischemic colitis. She was treated in the hospital for 4 days, 2 weeks ago. She is now experiencing abdominal pain and diarreha again. This started this morning.
Should I bring her back to the hospital???
Or do people with Ischemic Colitis experience syptoms like this often?
If cronic symptoms are the case, what are some steps we can take to making her life more comfortable??
She is only 46 years old, she works and has a life. And she is very scared that this may affect her job and such. Being that she had to miss 5 days of work being in the hospital. And then she had to leave early today. And if she's not better by tomorrow, I'm making her go to the er.
I was just wondering if any of you have had any experiences with this disease and what it entails.
And personal feed back would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
