Stitches out... [Archive] - HealthBoards Message Boards

I had an Apicoetomy last week and have to have my stitches out Monday--I was put under for the procedure (TERRIFIED of the dentist), but don't think they'll do that for the suture removal.

Will this hurt? I'm worried--my gums are tender and the knots seem tight.

you more than likely won't even feel a thing but a little tug. I never felt it

Thanks. It was sort of sore and pinched a little, but no big deal. It was like getting my braces off; I was so happy to be getting them out that I hardly cared about the pain.

So so so glad that ordeal's over--at least for now.
