Well I had my leep today and Im home with no problems, just minor cramping for an hour!!! , I had it done in the office with just lidocaine, NO epinepherine. I cant have it due to heart murmurs/arrythmias. Anywanys, I was the first person that my Dr has not used it on. Has anyone else had no epinepherine because the I really felt ALOT! She took 4 samples , with one being in the canal (ECC) even though my ECC biopsy was normal. I read so many posts that say it was nothing and they felt nothing, and I am wondering if it was worse for me because I only had the lidocaine? I was also cauterized and that was a bit painful too. I just dealt with it. I read that the biopsies were worse, but for me they were a piece of cake and did not bother me except for some minor cramping for a few minutes. Basically I am confused because she had to inject me numerous times and I still felt a lot .....any ideas?
Also why did it take an hour? The Leep wire and the cauterizing and silver nitrate took about 40 minutes, which seems long in comparison to what I have read. Thanks for your help !
