Just a quick question.
If anyone has read my prior entry. Im curious, if it comes back that I am diagnosed with genital herpes, does this mean no more oral, and no more giving oral to my partner?
We are going to schedual him for a blood test if I come back positve, but assuming we do, or he doesnt and I do, whichever, Will I still be able to give him oral, and him giving me oral, or can me having genital herpes give him oral, and myself oral?
Still in the dark about this...Thanks

If you have only genital herpes...then you can safely give someone else oral sex no problem.
However, receiving oral is another story. If someone performs oral sex on you, they run the risk of being infected with herpes on their mouth. In other words, yes, you can transmit herpes from someone performing oral sex on you.

My soulmate has never gotten it from giving oral to me in 13 years, but that may be because I am very cautious about having any kind of sex (except me giving him oral) when I feel anything suspicious at all, no matter how trivial, or when I begin to feel tired and worn-out.
