 Hi all!!

I was wondering if your BP is elevated...mine has been 129/102 is it ok to try to exercise (walk). I want to start exercising again since I haven't been so active lately. Yesterday, I felt my BP going up again yesterday and felt a strange pain in my left wrist and underneath my chest. I think I got a little anxious thinking it was my BP and I got my BP back up to around the above.

I want to start walking today and just wondered if its a good idea. :bouncing:

Walking is great for high blood pressure. Just to be on the safe side, I would ask my doctor about it since you have not been active lately.

I started a walking regimen 3 yrs ago off and on. I walk most days no matter what my bp is, unless of course it is extremely high (170ish/100ish).

I feel much better today but I took a short walk around my office building. I feel refreshed. I'm just extremely tired tho now!!!

Thanks for the response.
