How bad is an upper GI test ,

I have one next week and i dont want to gag on the chalkie stuff...

It is not as bad as some may say, I have had several. Just chug that stuff down........it taste terrible but I have had worse!! Ha Ha! good luck

I had it done 8 years ago when I was 13 and it wasn't that bad at all. The stuff tasted like chalky Kaopeptate. But out of all the gastro procedures I've had done, that was a fine. There is nothing to worry about, trust. I didn't even get nauseous from drinking the stuff.

Well im not going to mince words the test really suxxs.The really hard part for me was when they made me swallow these crystal like things in a cup and they tell you not to burp.I had the darnest time trying not to burp,the test wouldnt be half as bad if they didnt make you do it on an empty stomach.Hows your gag reflex?Take care.
