Ever since I got my tongue pierced last march..which I removed one month later I have been having tongue problems. When I wake up in the morning it will have a white coating on it. I can get some of it off by brushing but it generally has somewhat of a white tint to it. I done some research and it seems as though the tongue piercing may have cause an inbalance of canidida bacteria in my mouth and it might be what is causing the white tongue. Has anyone had an experience with this and know how to get rid of it? I have tried tongue scrapers, different mouth washes, toothpaste etc. I cant seem to get rid of it and it varies from day to day.

BTW I do not beleive that it is oral thursh...because from what I have seen thrush comes in patches where as my whole tongue has a consitancy of a white tint on the whole thing and it is a bit worse towards the back.
