This is my first time so i hope its not rude to ask a question with out back ground can any one tell me what the highest stage of crevical cancer is , cause where i live the doctors say things like you have the highest stage of crevical cancer its really bad

hi, i'm not sure about all the stages of cervical cancer, i am just more familiar with the precancerous cervical dysplasia. the title of you post was 2 leeps and a cone. are those the procedures you went through? what kind of time span. i don't mean to ask too many questions, just that i just went through my second leep for CIN 3 and still didn't have clear margins, so now I have to wait 3 months for follow up pap and colp, and Im wondering if there are others with similar situation. so if you can, please tell about your background,

In 1998 i had a leep and 2000 i had my cone bi-op and i had my second leep just 4 weeks ago
for anyone out there worried about a leep or cone and haveing kids i had two kids after my first leep and cone.

cerivcal cancer is diagnosed in stages...with 1 being best outcome and 4 being the worst. Precancerous cells are rated differently...from ASGUS to Low grade squamous intraepithelial lesions to High grade squamous intraepithelial lesions...Once you are in the HSIL category you are classified as CIN 1 (mild dysplasia, 11 (moderate dysplasia), or 111 (severe dysplasia)
If you have cancer, you dont get the LEEP ....My friend has the cold cone knife with her cancer and it did not have clear margins and had a hysterectomy. Im assuming you mean that you have the worst pre-cancer cells, perhaps CIN 3 or CIS, not invasive cancer that has spread to distant organs, which is the worst case of cervical cancer .

Well i found out to day that the highest stage of cervical cancer is stage 4 ,thats when its cancer and its no longer just on the crevix .
Ijust thank god that i have had my 3 kids cause i have to get a hysterectomy on friday and they say its in my bladder but its not that bad so i hope i don't walk out of there with a bag on my side.
