Hello all.I have crohn's and ibs,I have lived with serious diarrhea DAILY for 4 years.I started Calcium&mag 5 days ago,and noooooo bm's since.Is this from the Calcium??????Does anyone have info about Calcium effects on diarrhea.It's been wonderful for days,but now I am starting to worry about a blockage soon.The more info the better! I am new to this site,I hope someone can help.Love to all***Amber

It probably is the Calcium, if you have not taken it before. Basically, you will lose calcium from continued diarrhea and by taking it as a supplement, it helps your bowel to absorb back more water naturally. However, magnesium should counteract the constipation. Maybe reduce the dose a little until your body adjusts to it.
