hi, sometimesi go through phases where i am not able to go for a while but get a green mucus when i try to go, its smelly and sticky, waht could this be? Could it be ibs or something?

btw if its any way related, i lay down 24/7 pretty much and can't walk/excerise

A small case rectal pro lapse. Nothing serious. Causes a small amount of intestinal lining to push out from the anal opening. It will go away in time, coughing itself can help. Its very common in some cases of constipation or even a sudden change in diet.

But in all cases, check with the doctor because I am no expert on that matter that's for sure. Sometimes It could be a chronic disorder, but I doubt your case is chronic. If it is they have to go in and strengthen the intestine.

ahhhthank you, i had never thought oft hat. When i was a baby, i used to be suffer from bowel prolapses. could that be releated?

If you are passing stools that are green, contain mucus and are foul smelling, this could be due to the fact that you have a bacterial stomach infection. Any stools that are foul smelling normally denote infection, whether this be viral or bacterial. The fact that your stools contain mucus is more indicative of bacterial infection though. If I were you, I would arrange with your doc to have a stool sample sent for testing. At least this way, the bacteria can be isolated and you can be given the appropriate antibiotics for your infection.

I think that it would also be a good idea for you to see your doc so that he can examine your stomach.
