Hi All,
My 10 yr old daughter came home from school yesterday saying that she had tummy ache. When I asked her exactly where the pain was, she could not be precise and just told me that her tummy hurt all over. As she ate most of her tea, I just ignored this for the rest of the evening and when she went to bed she seemed to be ok.
This morning however, she has a temperature of 38.5c, has vomited twice and says that all over her lower tummy is very painful.
Does anyone know what this could be and what I should do? Could she just have a tummy bug?

The symptoms of a tummy ache and a fever can indicate a serious desease, but it is most likely that it is a virus of some sort. If the fever does not go away, you should defently go see a doctor immediently.

Thanks for replying. My daughter is still unwell with a tummy ache and fever, so our doctor is coming to see her at home this morning.
I'll let you know what happens.
