How much water should a person who is taking high fiber take? I heard that it is according to your weight and then you divide by half or something? I currently try to take 8 glasses a day.

That sounds about right, but I equate this with about 2 to 3 litres on a daily basis. You should be drinking this amount anyway whether on fiber therapy or not.

Your body is made up of between 50-70% water and without this the cells in your body dehydrate, so it is very important to keep a high water intake.
