About 2 weeks ago I had this horrible canker sore that would NOT go away, I used baking soda, listerine, orajel, and it just seemed to get worse so I wondered if it was the listerine or toothpaste I was using, well now the canker is still there and my gums are swollen and bleeding and they look like they are peeling, I can't eat a thing without the roof of my mouth and gums burning me! I've been brushing after every meal, and using listerine but it just seems to be spreading, has anyone had this before?? Do you think it's an allergy to the listerine?

Also, I had a root canal about 14 days ago and my jaw is just killing me still, I've been taking ibprofen constantly since that day and every 5 hours as soon as it wears off I'm in horrible pain again, and to make it better today I had 3 fillings done on the opposite side and now I feel like I got hit with a bat on both sides of my jaw!! Is it normal to last this long??? I've never had a root canal before this one.. Thanks ahead of time!!!

You may want to try taking L-Lsyne. That seems to really help me!
