I am a 45yr old man with a tooth that has gum growing from the inside. I had a root canal and crown done about 12yrs ago but since then everthing have falling apart. I just saw a dentist, i was hopping to get the teeth pulled and he says i will need to see an OS because there is gum growing out of the tooth, but i dont feel any pain. Almost all my life i have always had heart palpitation a few times in a month, but recently it happens a lot more often and my GP(MD) have found nothing wrong with me. Will there be any complication during oral surgery? Thanks for all your helps.

I have a heart murmur so I feel the palpatations quite often, normally the precautions given to Heart Murmurs or MVP patients are antibotics one hr prior to surgery or visits that requires fillings, etc. followed up by more antibotics. My oral surgeon was pretty standard with all his patients as far as having the BP cuff on that inflated every few minutes, and heart rate monitor.
