View Full Version : Question again about diastolic pressure readings

Ok, My systolic pressure remains for me at a good level...120 - 130. Average around 126. Now my diastolic number is the weird one. It goes from mid 80s to high 105. What the heck can I do to get that number down??? I feel fine, my pulse is normal between 68 - 105 with exertion....I don't get it. Why can't that number go down.

This morning I was great at 126/86. That is low for me. I hadn't taken my meds since 12:00 yesterday and I took it again after this reading at 12:00 today. It is now 4:30 and my meds still haven't taken effect. It seems I am elevated in the afternoons.

Help???

B/P is usually highest in the morning, but my Diastolic comes down the later in the afternoon that it gets. I think that is normal. Your readings don't look bad.
