A little over a week ago I started a very low-salt diet. I feel like it is effecting me neurolgically. My thoughts are more sluggish - I have been making stupid mistakes when driving - even my dreaming seems different - feel a little more confused than usual and my mood seems off - maybe I am completely wrong about the salt restriction but something seems not right.

Yes! I tried a low salt diet and I had weird sluggish seizures...my brain just wasn't fast enough. Salt conducts electricity, and our brains are electric so that might explain it. I always crave too much salt sometimes before a seizure, I'll go insane for bacon:)lol I was a loyal Subway BLT customer during these episodes:)lol

Salts can come in different varieties. Magnesium and Potassium are salts, and when I'm lacking these I'm like a slug:)lol B6 is also really helpful too:)
