This is gonna sound weird but

If i do something, it has to be done and complete when ive got it
ok like today i bought christmas presents, but it wasnt enough to do that, i took it one step further and i had to wrap them and then decorate them too other wise itd drive me insane for not doing it
also if i dont buy something as soon as i can, like the day after ive seen it, i freak out until i actually buy it because all i can think about is the item all day
maybe im too possessive or something
ya guys reckon it cud be ocd?

I don't know if it is OCD. It just sounds like something you were trained to do as a young person or something. Maybe you are a perfectionist. I used to be like that and wore myself out.

I still do some things like that but now pace myself because in the long run, it just isn't worth it and it isn't any fun. We need to make our lives more fun. Maybe in time you will find that you will have fun one week just shopping. The next week fun will be just doing the decorating, and the following week fun will be wrapping presents.

Do you have a lot to do with the holidays coming up? I think a lot of us start to act whacky around this time of the year because of all the expectations put on us.
