I am really stressing at the moment and i need advice if anyone can help. I changed pill from dianette to microgynon. I had my 7 day break then started the new pack of pill. I didnt have sex up till 2 weeks later, which was 2 weeks ago,I havent had sex since (my boyfriend is in the forces) i have had my 7 day break and im now on my second pack of microgynon. During my 7 day break i had a couple of days of very light bleeding. At the beginning it was pink then red, then brown. It was so light i only had to use a pantyliner on occasions. there was a small clot once but nothing compared to usual. I am worried sick,Could i be pregnant or is this my body getting used to the new pill? My previous pill was very strong and a completely different balance of hormones compared to this new pill. I did take microgynon a few years back and had normal periods. Has anyone had a similar experience with changing packs? I had a similar experience to this a few years ago when i took the morning after pill, my period following this was the same.
Please help

Sounds like your body is getting used to the new pill. Your body needs to adjust and get used to the new amounts of hormone in this new pill. When changing pills spotting and break through bleeding are common. Also, changes in your period can occur. It should take about 3 packs for your body to fully adjust to this new pill.

thanks i really do hope so. I havent done a pregnancy test because i didnt think i was pregnant. I havent ruled out taking one yet. I didnt think changing pill could create changes in your body like this, very naive you may say.

Thanks for replying, its helped put my mind at rest
