i'm new to this site, this may be a dumb question but i had protected sex with a woman 3 and a half months ago, i haven't been tested yet but am planning on getting tested soon but i was just curious as to my odds from this encounter, she doesn't sleep around and the intercourse was rather short, but any insight would help

HIV cannot be contracted from protected sex.

I thought that a condom could fail, as in leaking, if the condom were to leak would there be the possibility of contracting the disease? also i have a teacher that has said a few times that the hiv virus is so small that it can go through the condom, is this true? any insight would be greatly appreciated, thank you

There is always the possibility of a condom breaking or falling off if not used correctly but if this happened you would know about it.
I have certainly never heard of anyone who has contracted HIV through a condom - anyone else?

that's a myth. shame on your teacher for misinforming you guys. condoms are the only way to protect against HIV, ask any doctor. you're totally fine, no need to worry for a second.
