Ok here's the story:
Been of B.C. (Kariva) for about 2 years...this last cycle I missed Thursday night's pill and Friday night's pill; made up for Friday's pill by taking it on Saturday morning, then continuing with regular use Saturday night, Sunday night, etc. All in all, I missed one pill; took one "late", all this during the end of my second week; going into my third week of pills.
Had intercourse the Tuesday after this....and wondering how big of a chance that I could become PG, debating on whether I should take the morning after pill or not.
If I do take the morning after pill, how long until I can resume taking my Kariva again?
Thanks for any and all help!

You really have a slim chance of being pregnant since you took the late pill within 24 hours. Technically you only missed one pill, I wouldn't worry about it too much. I have missed one pill before and not gotten pregnant. There is a very small chance.

Hi:)
I was not on the birth control pill that you are on, but when I read all of the instructions, my pills said that if I missed one pill, I did not have to another form of birth control. If I missed two, then I HAD to use another form. So, in your case, you only missed one pill right? I don't think you have anything to worry about. If you are still worried, talk to your doctor, or you can even call a pharmicist. They know a lot about this. Good luck.

Thanks Chantel. I did talk to a nurse practioner and she reccomended I take the "Plan B" pill, since I had "essentially" missed two pills. So I plan on taking the pill tomorrow, which is within the 72 hour period.
Thanks again!
Thanks again!
