Hey I'd like to know if I'm a healthy weight
I'm 14, female, 5'6", medium body frame, 115 lb or somewhere around there... it goes up and down, but doesnt everybody? lol.... what do you think? :)

well lets just say this. im 20 and im also 5'6 with a medium body frame. right now i weigh 155. im not fat. im not even chubby. but i do have a little bit of a stomach that i would like to get rid of. so i cant even imagine what you must look like at 115

IMO, I'd gain 5 pounds to be on the safe side. :) 115 may be a little too low.

Thanx you guys... I was 88 lbs. lastyear :eek: ... and only like an inch shorter then i am now... so i've had a hard time finding the right weight... thanx for the advice!

It perfectly normal to gain weight at your age, since you're going through puberty and probably getting boobs and a bum and all that fun stuff, haha :).

I tend to go by Body Mass Index(BMI) when I am trying to find the recommended amount I should weight for my height. Which you should be between a 18.5-24.5 BMI which at 5'6 you should weight inbetween 115-151lbs to be healthy. I think you should actually gain 5-10lbs or even a little more then that because you are just 14 y/o I don't think you have to worry about your weight right now. You are nowhere close to overweight just eat right and get the recommend amount of exercise daily and you shouldn't have to worry about you weight through your teenage years.
