I was just wondering if anyone knows if there is anything that can be taken that would be more or less like a natural antibiotic?
Also, anything that would lessen or help keep away the "stomach bug"?
Thanks for your help!

There are several natural antibiotics and several theories behind them. A couple that you might want to look into are Apple Cider Vinegar and any type of probiotic. Do a google search on them. ACV will nuetralize your Ph level and discourage parasitic and bad bacteria growth and a probiotic will introduce good flora back into the gut, especially if you have been on any prescribed medicines. Full fat natural yogurt should do the same. Lots of stuff on the cure zone.

Garlic has powerful antibiotic properties. In fact, Russia has conducted some of the most intensive scientific work on garlic's use in medicine, and its use is so prevalent that it is sometimes referred to as "Russian Penicillin".

Accodopholus helps promote gut flora (the bacteria that fight yeast). I use Yarrow Formulas or you could just eat a tub or two of organic, plain, live yoghurt.

Also avoid fermented foods and sugar as they exacerbate yeast growth.

Goldenseal!! Powerful stuff. Also garlic.

Colloidal silver I've used, but I've heard it can turn your skin blue so I mostly avoid it now (I think that happens only when you use A LOT of it). It's very soothing if you have a skin infection - it neutralizes the acids in the infection and helps heal.

Take the natural stuff the same way you'd take a prescription - two to three times a day for about ten days, then stop. Then be sure you take your probiotics, because natural antibiotics mess up your intestinal flora the same way brand-name ones do!!
