I have been back on BCP Nordette for three weeks (after being on depo for 5 years). I was on BCP about 7 years ago for almost a year and experienced breast swelling.

I am having this once again but the tenderness to go with it. Now, I don't mind the swelling :) but how long can I expect the tenderness to last?

A few days after I started taking BCP is when the tenderness started. At first it was pretty extreme, but now it is more of an ache that is most noticable around the very edges.

Any advice would be great.

I don't know what you can actually do about this, it's just something that goes w/ the pill, I fear. I guess depending on the type you are on it could be less w/ a diff one, like mine (Yasmin) only makes me feel sore a few weeks out of my monthly cycle, not the whole time, that part I can deal with (the hot flashes and weight gain I can't!)

Ok, I just wasn't sure what to think as before I never experienced tenderness during cycles.
