Hi,

Has anyone experienced bleeding after a Pap Smear? My doctor was doing a 6month recheck on Atypical cells, with negative HPV. She said it could have been from the brush they use to get a sample? Anyone experience this?
I was mid-cycle when she did this.

I have. I didn't used to, though. It seems that the last couple of times I've bleed during the exam, and had pink spotting afterwards. My Doctor said it is normal and not to worry.
