I am 26 year old male, I am pretty healthy and never really had anything wrong with me. Recently I have been experiencing weird head rushes right at the time when I am falling asleep, it is kind of like a tingling feeling throughout my head that only last a few seconds but is enough to wake me up. This started about two months ago and two weeks after the first time it happened I had kind of the same thing happen only it was in the middle of the day and it lasted several hours. It was so bad I thought I was going to pass out and ended up in the hospital for the next two days. After a lot of test on my heart they figured out it had to be something else. My doctor now says maybe it is anxiety but really cannot explain the head rushes. He has written me a prescription for Zoloft but I have yet to start it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Start the Zoloft and see if it clears up. It may anxiety. There are many symtoms of that. I use to get something like that when my blood pressure would rise during the night. ( I have high blood pressure anyway) It would feel like headrushes, some dizzyness laying down etc. Anxiety can cause stuff like that.
