When you say you broke your plateu, what do you mean? How often were you working out? Do you lift weights? Lifting weights speeds up the metabolism.

I'm dumb, but what's a plateau?

A plateau is when your body no longer responds to exercise, and you find yourself not losing anymore weight. For example, when your body is used to running on the treadmill everyday at the same speed for 3 months, and during this time, everything is dandy and you were losing weight....well, all of a sudden the weight is remaining the same number and your at a stump. In order to overcome this "dead end" is to work your body harder than it's used to so you start to see results. This does not only indicate your weight in numbers, but also how you look as far as muscle tone, and shrinkage.

I have been on LA Weight Loss now a month, lost 4 pounds. Up and Down, the entire four weeks. I lost 3 pounds the first weekend using their express program. I would like to start a new thread, but cant figure it out for the life of me. Any ideas. Its not that I havent used message boards, I have, but this one is more confusing than others.

Slowpoke--to start a new thread, click on the "new thread" button above the main page of the message board. The one with the subjects of posts, not categories. Then you can start your own thread.
