Hi Debbie,
I was just wondering if you have started Meridia yet? I'm in my second week I have lost 4 pounds. I don't know about the first because my scale was broken. I feel really good. I have had an increased amount of headaches which is unfortunate but it's not enough to make me stop. Well, I just wanted to let you know that it is something that can work if you work hard at it. I shouldn't even say work hard because it works so well that you just have to eat healthy and workout. It definitly has decreased my appetite in a big way. Let me know what's going on with you. I hope all is well. Take care. Kristy. :)

Hi Kristy,
Well I got the approval to see the dietician on the 29th of this month, we are waiting for the approval of the meridia. If i dont wait for the approval i am looking at an out of pocket expense of about $150 per month...so with that said I have not started it....yet. But I am looking forward to it.
The increased amount of headaches that you are experienceing...could that be from not eating as much? It could be a side effect that will eventually go away....hopefully.
I'm glad to hear that you are doing well and congrats on the weight loss thus far!!!

Hi Debbie,
Well I hope you get approved. I have not yet been so I paid out of my pocket, I couldn't believe how much it costs. But if it works then it's worth so much more than that! I should find out soon if I was approved. I don't see how I couldn't be when my doctor was the one to prescribe it. Anyway as for the headaches I just realised that I started my period the other day and I usually get headaches around that time so I think that might be why. Although it could definitly be from not eating as much. There are a lot of possible side effects and so far I certainly cannot complain, I've been lucky so far. Well, let me know how your appt goes on the 29th. Take care. Kristy. ;)
