I went back to work on light duty this past week. Monday I was stiff by the end of the day. Im only working 8 hours M-F. I work 12 hours shifts normally. I wont be doing that until the 6 month. By Friday I was getting better about being able to handle the day. My complaints at this juncture is my chin is still numb along my incision, some swallowing issues sometimes (its if I had a pill stuck in my throat), I get some burning in my left chest close to my armpit, burning in my tricep and burning in my elbow. Those instances are usually only last 10 seconds or less and come on about 3 times a day.

My shoulder is getting better with the PT but I overdid it today and created some muscle spasms.

My worst physical complaint by far is how stiff my neck is. Sometimes it feels if I can barely keep my head up.

Im still very depressed that I elected to do the surgery, I didnt have the symptoms everyone else has had or very long. I only had my symptoms 3 months and never had numbness or muscle weakness only pain. I really thought all my pain in my shoulder was caused from my herniated disc. I still have that pain with all these new symptoms. But my NS said that I needed it done NOW! since it was in my spinal cord (I had no symptoms of that) The second opinion also suggested surgery. Also I wasnt told about this domino effect either.(10 weeks ago I ran 5 miles and moved furniture) I cant do anything now. Thats what taking Loritabs everyday will do to your congitive ablilities

Thank you all for letting me vent.
