My mother in law is scheduled for a needle biopsy on the 4cm X 4cm mass in the upper lobe of her right lung on Wednesday. We just found out our county is offering flu shots on Tuesday. Does any one know if there is any reason she shouldn't get the flu shot so close in time to her biopsy?

Patty- I am not sure if a flu shot would cause any harm, or not. I would definetely run it by her Oncologist first.
