Hi!
It's been awhile since I have had a chance to get on. Mike had his surgery on Nov.5th. they took out the upper right lobe of his lung. He stayed in the hospital 6 days. They are pretty sure they got all of it and he will not even have to have chemo right now. Thank god!
We came home and stayed 5 days and had to go back. He was vomiting and had unbelieveable sweats and chills. He stayed 5 days again and we are just home tonight.
I hope the worst part is over but I'm not sure. His white blood cell count is still elevated and they could not find out why.
Thank you guys for your thoughts and prayers. I am still remembering you in mine.

Yes, he is still on antibiotics. I hope we will see progress soon. God does answer prayers and he is proof of that.

Gail,
I've not been able to get to the boards lately, but had been thinking about you and Mike and wondering how things went. I'm so sorry that he's had such a rough recovery, but it sounds like it was well worth the pain, it's great that they don't feel chemo is needed. I hope the antibiotics kick in and he is feeling better in no time. I'll continue to keep you in prayers thru the holidays.
Love,
Beth
