I have been on Yasmin for 6 months and tried to skip my period for the first time last month for my wedding. I skipped the white pills and went straight to a new pack, and it worked, but now two weeks into the new pack I have my period anyway, and have for about 8 days now. I see this has happened to others on this board, what worked for you? Should I stop taking them altogether and wait for the bleeding to stop, or continue on as scheduled? Birth control isn't an issue, I just want my periods back on schedule and I will never do this again! Thanks for any advice until I can reach my doc.

Do not just stop taking the pills. Screwing with your cycle is what is causing you to have your period now.
You need to keep taking the pills, and wait it out. Things should resume to normal after you have your placebo week, and start your new back.

I dunno, I wish I could help. I haven't tried it on yasmin but I had a bad experience with the skipping thing on Alesse, which is also a low low dosage and I just got the period for like a whole month--really bad and heavy bleeding so I'm too scared to try it again!

I would ask your pharmacist , they can be really helpful. I skipped once with yasmin and just kept taking the pills and it worked it self out.
