Great to hear all is going well. Its amazing how often you can experience bouts of unexplained pain (like your calf) without rhyme or reason. Aint nerves a funny thing.

Well done and good luck :bouncing:

Aloha TAZ!

Long time no see! I have my MMI appointment in January. Did you need to take the physical capacity test, I didnt need to do that as I met all my goals set by my doctor in PT and OT.

Glad to hear from you, I am sorry to hear that your having some calf problems, I too am still having some odds and ends going on, but as a whole I also am doing great. Just joined the Gym and I am still in the pool every night of the week.

H'C,

I've been using barbells in the pool. They're neat---lots of resistance

Hey Fly,

Are you talking regular barbells or the kind designed for the pool. I used the ones for the pool in PT and I agree they are great. I use a couple of floatation belts in the pool every night, this allows me to swim, jog and just float when I want to without having to worry about keeping my total body weight above the water, they are worth their weight in gold (of course if they were worth their weight in gold I probably would have sold them by now, so I am glad they're not). I was thinking about getting a set of those barbells, but I never did. Like I said before, I am going to the gym now and using all of the weight machines, I walk there which takes me about fifteen minutes, then when I'm finished it's another fifteen minutes back home, then I hop in the pool for an hour or so. Since it's Thanksgiving, I would like to give thanks for our swimming pool and spa.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Thanksgiving.

I use the therapy pool at the Y a couple of times a week. They have the barbells there. I just have to ask. They're better than the noodles.

I wasn't allowed to do PT for 3 months. The place I went does have a pool. I have started using the therapy pool at the YMCA also. Being a senior I get a good rate.
