These are 2 of my favorite bible verses, please read them to Chaz for me, he will hear you.
Number 6:24-26
The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make his face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; The Lord lift up his countenance to you, and give you peace.
Psalms 138:7
Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you will receive me; You will stretch out your hand against my enemies, and your right hand will save me.

Thank you so much Renee it is so nice to have so many people pulling for Chazz he is a special person. I have got to make a tuff decision here in the next two days and I am hoping that God will have me do the right thing. They want to take him off life support and see if he can do it on his own, if not they think I should let him go, but they do not know what they are asking. Even if it is just a shadow of the man he used to be, I may be holding on to a memory but its still here or is it. Thank you for your thoughts, eveyone has been so good on here Chazz had told me how special the people were on here. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.
I will have someone print these out and put them right above his bed, thank you so much. Chaz always told me how great the people were on here and I am seeing it for myself.

HI
I just found this post. Don't let them put him off the life support yet. His body needs time to recouperate! That vent is allowing that. Make them keep him hydrated, comfortable, and treated for pain. It's way too early for them to be telling you to give up unless they know something that they haven't told you!
DEMAND that EEG. If there are waves, there is LIFE! I know that's blunt, but that's the only way I can explain it.
I've personally known people that were on vents for similar reasons. It allows the body to rest! He's been trough trauma from the bleed in his brain. Until the swelling is all down, and the bleed absorbed, they just don't know for sure what is going on- they are making educated guesses, perhaps. But they don't KNOW without that EEG! (BTW, an eeg is a PAINLESS test, and simple to do. I've had several of them)
A good friend of mine had always said he never wanted to be on life support. His wife went against those wishes temporarily while he was very ill. He did pull through- against ALL the odds.
Now, I'm not there- I can't know what is fully going on. But my best advice is to give his body the time to get stronger! The way he crashed so fast leads me to believe that this crisis could be temporary.
Hugs hon, give Chaz my best, too!
