Hi everyone! I've had problems with indigestion for about a year now. What I wanted to know is...can gas caused by indigestion cause pain in the chest area? I shoould probabbly post this on the obsessions board as well :) cause i keep freaking out that the pain in my chest on the left side is a heart attack, and after a while I'll burp or pass gas (excuse me) and the pain will slowly go away. Does anyone else get this? Thanx in advance for your time :)

Yes it can. Lots of people go to the ER because they think they're having a heart attack and sometimes it's indigestion they actually have.

Twisten is right trapped gas can be very painful and alarming. I have found 2 homeopathic remedies good for it--- Magnesia Phos for cramping and spasms and Carbo Veg --- it helps the trapped gas in the stomach after eating and just sitting around.
There is a good web site about Controlling Gas in the "Information Archive" at the top of this board. It is worth reading.
