hi, new to this site, anyone experiencing L hemittes sign? (when u put 'r chin to u'r chest, and got a shock like feeling down u'r spine and into limbs)duration, how long did it last? what was causing u'rs if known, ms? other spinal disorders? can u explain u'r symptoms and treatments if any............ thank you for u'r response......tammy :confused:

I'm new to the group also and experienced L'Hermittes sign for several months before my surgery every time I looked up rapidly. The "shock" only lasted a second but was bizarre. The day after my C3/C4 acdf surgery my surgeon had me try the movement to prove the pressure on the spinal cord (or nerves) was no longer present and sure enough it had disappeared. :) TOM
